7. Sorry, CM, but you've put your work out there and folks have decided to tweak it some. As long as your original work remains available intact to the truly appreciative, I don't see a real problem.

Well stated SDH. That was exactly my first thought on this issue. As long as the original is not lost in the process, why is it an issue?? If someone can make a good matrix (not always accomplished, I know)combining 2 or more other sources, I am all for it. As many different sources as possible to choose from for any particular show is a great thing. For some shows a SBD is the only way to go. For others an AUD is the only way to go...all based on personal preference. A well done matrix can sometimes combine the best qualities of both to make a better final product. What sounds good is subjective to one's personal tastes....one man's trash is another man's treasure yada yada yada.....

Exactly what I said. Of course, turns out JOTS said it too...and so did someone else. But I took it, modified it, "matrixed" it if you will, and it sounded better coming from me...Then, SDH took it, added a few references to 79 and 82 (well...he WAS thinking about it!), got it all screwed up with a bad AUD, and well, there you have it.

So, please keep this in mind.

Sorry Tell..
But SDH said in a plain english kinda way so that a dolt like me could understand it...:)

You know.. in a "what he said only different" sorta way!

Seems most of us are all on the same page!!

Ah--exactly! Except, as SDH notes below, mine is the "God-like page" whilst you are on the "Purgatory Page" and SDH is on the "Hell in a bucket" page...or at least this is what a divine revelation, as spoken from my electric shaver this very morning (!), informed me...

Yep.

Like everything discussed around these part it all comes down to personal opinion. One person says any Matrix is a sin against God, while another says that when well done a Matrix can be a gift from God. To each his own.

Can't we all just get along?

Yes, as long as you all agree with me.

A Sheep, a Scotsman and a Tea Bag walked into a bar.
The bartender looks at the group and says (insert your own punchline here)

Kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel, aren't we?

OK, I guess it may have been a touch clever. Still, though, a tad below the quality we have come to expect from across the pond.
